Business mission to the Tula region


At the meeting, the representatives of the regional authorities and business community of the region had an opportunity to discuss possible areas of cooperation.

Opening the business part of the meeting, deputy prime minister of the Tula region Marina Levina welcomed the participants on behalf of the governor of the Tula region Gruzdev V. and the Government of Tula region. Marina noted that the Tula region is now rapidly developing, and the high potential of the region offers the rich possibilities for private investment and partnership.

- Today the region creates platforms for the six industrial parks. Numerous historical and cultural monuments can also become objects for profitable investments. We consider this meeting as the beginning of a constructive dialogue and the first step towards long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation.

More comprehensively about the investment potential of the Tula region in domestic tourism said Minister of Culture and Tourism of the Tula region Tatiana Ribkina. Topic about founding tourist and educational center in the area of folk arts and crafts was continued by general director of “Country format” Andrey Osipov, who presented a pilot investment project in the framework of formation of tourist and recreational complex “Tula phenomenon”.

Discussion of the strategy of tourism development in the region was kept up by Russian craftsman Elena Palevskaya and general director of LLC “Filimonovskaya igrushka” Sergey Kuznetsov.

Then, the Chairman of the Committee on Entrepreneurship and Consumer market of the Tula region, Kirill Guzov, gave a speech on forms of state support of small and medium enterprises. On the forms of assistance to entrepreneurs to the participants of the meeting told the director of the Tula Regional Fund for Small Business Milena Gubenko.

Existing mechanisms for support the investment and the principles of interaction of regional authorities with small and medium-sized businesses were presented by the deputy director of the Department, a head of investment and public-private partnership of the Ministry of Economic Development and Industry in the Tula Region, Vyacheslav Romanov.

Then the pro-rector of the Institute of self-regulation’s problems Oleg Sorokin took the floor. The subject of his speech was “Development of recreational clusters in Tula region through an investment scheme of public-private partnership”. Head of a Correspondent center “Euro Info” in a Tula region Rinat Kryukov presented investment projects of Tula region.

Members of the delegation also presented their best practices, projects and ideas for the development of cooperation with the business community in Tula region.

The following people announced their business proposals to potential partners: CEO “AlViSt – House” Alex Malinin (buildings and low-rise housing construction); general director of “RemiLing 2000” Inga Legasova (making a large order for manufacturing of products for home and for delivery to network stores). Investment social project was introduced by the general director of “Design Center of Special Purpose Footwear” Ortomoda” Galina Volkova.

Managing partner of “Elena Shipilova Fashion House” Gennady Suvorov gave a presentation “The recipe for a successful brand and sales”. A kind of illustration to the of presentation was a fashion show of Shipilova Helena’s clothes collection.

At the end of the official part head of the club Olga Irzun thanked Tula partners and participants of the business mission for a constructive approach to the meeting and expressed hope for further cooperation.

Cultural part of the program, prepared for the delegation of the club, consisted of a visit to the famous museum complex “Yasnaya Polyana”, the exposition of the Tula State Museum of Weapons and the visit the museum-estate of V. Polenov, situated on the banks of Oka river. In addition, the club members became the guests of the XI International Nettles Festival in the ancient city Krapivna, where there is annual fair of folk art.

Back
