Organ concert at the Pushkin Museum


February 12, participants of the International club «Business Partnership» and the Business Club «Women of future Russia» attended a concert of organ music, which was held at the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts, in the Michelangelo hall.

The concert was dedicated to the works of Russian composers. Unique parts were performed by the winners of international competitions: Anastasia Chertok (organ), Anna Kabashnaya (violin) and Alina Golubo (viola). A wonderful acoustics of the hall gave the evening of Russian music special sound and color.

Spectators of the concert were able to hear the rare works by Russian composers of the eighteenth and twentieth centuries: Evstigney Fomin, Maxim Berezovsky, Ivan Khandoshkin, Concerto Grosso Metropolitan Hilarion (Alfeyev), bright fragments of the suite of Alexander Lokshin «Jungle Trail» and the immortal music of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky's ballet «Black Swan» arranged for organ.

Presenter of the evening was the Head of Musical Culture Museum, organist Anastasia Chertok, who told about the life and personality of each of the composers and the history of their unique creations.

Loud and prolonged applause from the audience and a lot of flowers have confirmed the high artistic level of this musical evening.
